Signal processing and receiving in UMTS system
Hron, Michal ; Hanus, Stanislav (referee) ; Kejík, Petr (advisor)
This semestral thesis be concerned with datailed analysis of receiving and processing signals in UMTS network system. Insistence of this work is setting to principals of RAKE receiver and processing signals in CDMA networks downlink channel. Through development system MATLAB simulates real function of RAKE receiver. This project is giving fundamental knowledges about receiving and processing of multipath signals to readers.
Mechanical rake screen
Žemlička, Martin ; Malach, František (referee) ; Malášek, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with construction concept of mechanical rake screen and consists of several main sections. The first section of the diploma thesis covers an overview of the current supply of mechanically scraping rack. In the second section, basic parameters and calculations are solved for the mechanical rack construction concept. In the third one however, analysis of the construction is realized with SolidWorks modeller and the functions of particular parts of the rack is explained. The last section of the diploma thesis focuses on stress control using classic calculation methods and Finite Element Methods (FEM) using a program called I-DEAS.
Creating Dataset for Narrative Structure Recognition by Crowdsourcing
Ignác, Igor ; Dočekal, Martin (referee) ; Smrž, Pavel (advisor)
Goal of this work is creation of extensive dataset for recognition of narrative structure by crowdsourcing method. For this purpose, it was necessary to create a web interface which offers dataset of films for user annotation. The annotation of data gained from IMDb database is established on three different types of annotation. Users validate similarity of movies based on computation done by Sentence-BERT, extraction of keywords from movie plots done by RAKE and precomputed similarity between movies based on their keywords. User's gamification is based on points assignment, which are related with badges, achievements accomplishment and leader board of most successful users.
Keyword Extraction from Documents
Matička, Jiří ; Očenášek, Pavel (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis pursues an automated extraction of keywords from documents. Its goal is to design and implement an application which will be able to extract an appropriate set of keywords related to the contents of the document. The major requirements for the application are speed and accuracy. That is why the first part of the thesis talks about already developed principles and a detailed classification based on various criteria. The second part is focused on choosing and a thorough functional describing of one of the methods which should have been used for extracting the keywords. The next parts contain a detailed draft of the application and its implementation. Finally, the last chapter is particularly important due to testing the application on a group of text documents and evaluating final results of the extraction process.
Analysis and Data Extraction from a Set of Documents Merged Together
Jarolím, Jordán ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This thesis deals with mining of relevant information from documents and automatic splitting of multiple documents merged together. Moreover, it describes the design and implementation of software for data mining from documents and for automatic splitting of multiple documents. Methods for acquiring textual data from scanned documents, named entity recognition, document clustering, their supportive algorithms and metrics for automatic splitting of documents are described in this thesis. Furthermore, an algorithm of implemented software is explained and tools and techniques used by this software are described. Lastly, the success rate of the implemented software is evaluated. In conclusion, possible extensions and further development of this thesis are discussed at the end.
Hydraulically driven screens
Čupr, Pavel ; Pokorný, Přemysl (referee) ; Škopán, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of hydraulically driven screen as an entrance clean mechanism in front of the small hydro-electric power plant. This bachelor’s thesis consists of several sections, the first shows overview and function of several kinds of screens of significant producers. Second shows the design of hydraulically driven screens with strength analysis. In the end the design of the hydraulic circuit of the screen drive is done.

Porovnání dopravníkových shrnovačů píce ROC RT 1000 a KUHN MERGE MAXX 902
VALENTA, Pavel
The issue of comparing the forage rakes with the belt conveyor for the harvesting of clover, grass and hay is concerned with the optimal utilization of rakes and economic appreciation in the production of bulk feedingstuffs. The aim of the work is to evaluate the parameters and the quality of the work done for Roc Rt1000 and Merge Max 902 machines. In the theoretical part I deal with the comparison of rakes according to the parameters stated by the manufacturers. The practical part of the work was elaborated according to the methodology dealing with the qualitative aspect of the machine. The measurements were carried out under standard climatic conditions under full machine operation. The measured measurement confirmed the assumption that comparable machines achieve similar work performance. For the Roc Rt1000, there were large deviations from the desired line shape. Finding the cause of a poor line creation is not due to the operator but the machine equipment. In the future, it would be interesting to compare the tracking machine with a machine from the same manufacturer and full equipment.
